Assemblies of God

Dr. James O. Davis is known on five continents for providing straightforward Biblical solutions to difficult, contemporary problems. His gifted insight and dynamic presentation on life-changing principles provide encouragement to people in need of guidance for change in the private or public aspects of their lives.

Dr. Davis has traveled over 3,000,000 miles internationally to countries where the Bible's answers are relatively unknown. While preaching overseas at tent meetings, open-air crusades, church revivals, conventions, and leadership conferences, he has led thousands of people to discover the value of Christ-centered living.

Dr. Davis is equally dedicated to a stateside ministry that places the Church at the cutting edge of a spiritual awakening of America. He is involved in church crusades, statewide outreaches, and college campuses across the United States and Canada. Davis has also been a featured guest speaker at the Brownsville Assemblies of God Pastors Conference, Dr. Bill Brights Annual Prayer and Fast Satellite Conference, and the Assemblies of God Churchquake Satellite Conference.

As National Evangelists Representative for the Assemblies of God world headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, Dr. Davis develops and coordinates the annual National Evangelists' Leadership Conference.

Under his leadership, participation in the conference has grown from less than 100 to over 4,000 nightly. He serves on the General Presbytery for the Assemblies of God, as well as other national committees where he represents more than 1,500 evangelists. In the last five years, Dr. Davis has equipped over 1,000 students to a God-given calling into full-time evangelism.

Dr. Davis earned his Bachelor's degree in Bible at Central Bible College and two master's degrees at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. His Doctorate in Ministry was awarded by Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. As an author, he has written the book, The Pastor's Best Friend: The New Testament Evangelist, as well as articles for numerous publications.

Dr. Davis resides in Springfield, Missouri with his wife Sheri. Their two children, Jennifer and James, reside in heaven.
